This weeks track is from none other than teenage superstar Lil Pump. Know for his comical stupidity and ability to "mumble rap", his latest release Harverd Dropout, is everything we expected plus more from Pump. He raps about women, drugs, clothes, and everything in between.
With features from YG, Smokepurpp, Takeoff, etc, the album was sure to have a few bangers and it did not disappoint. Although his music is somewhat generic and his beats lack the complexity that we would see from artists such as Travis Scott or Trippie Redd, there is something about Pumps voice and style that flow off the tongue in an addictive way. Sometimes I am not in the mood for lyrical content and intense production. Sometimes I just want to hear powerful bass and sing unintellectual lyrics.
The beat is addictive, the lyrics are bland (but addictive), and overall the track is great for blasting in the car or shower. Sometimes, ignorance really is bliss and by blasting this track, you will be blissfully ignorant.
