The soft and enamored vocals of Jesse Woods is something I immediately associated with a warm cup of tea or the warmth of the sun as it emerges from snoozing behind the clouds. There is just something about a song that allows you to simply feel good. Nothing more and nothing less. I write these words as I bask in the warm Hawaiian sun surrounded by my mothers orchids. Jesse Woods voice floats through the afternoon air. I absorb every morsel of this feeling of good. It can be challenging to allow ourselves to take the time and do something that simply makes us feel good. Nothing more and nothing less.

Golden light on the mountains. Sweet scented flowers. The smell of coffee. Songs of the birds. Clouds. Salt-laden breezes. The magnificent power of the ocean waves. Laughter. Music. Stillness. The perfect avocado. The silly small details that make up our lives with one thing in common. The feeling of good. We remind ourselves to appreciate these moments time and time again but just in case you forgot today, have a listen to this song and mosey on over towards your feeling of good.

About The Curator - Maria Fish

Maria Fish - Music to Curator

You can most often find Maria in her garden humming along to an eclectic playlist titled “Life’s a Garden, Dig It” and of course tending to her beloved kale. Shout out to Joe Dirt for the wise words and fantastic playlist name. This garden is located on the island of Kaua’i at her childhood home surrounded by tropical fruit trees and flowers. Beautiful music has always gone hand in hand with the beauty of the island. Just as she nurtures her plants, she looks forward to nurturing this playlist and the community of music lovers that feel like stopping by and having a listen.
