About this Playlist
The late 80s and 90s gave the world some of the best music, but the R&B music? man, in my opinion it was the greatest age of R&B music. The eras that preceded it were great, no disrespect to Marvin Gaye, Teddy Pendergrass and all the amazing Motown style artists, but this era of R&B was iconic! As an artist, it is one of the eras of R&B I’m constantly learning more and more about and studying very closely to try and understand what made this era so different as opposed to the others.
This playlist is composed of some of my favorite old school R&B records and i hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!
