I hope you connect with the melody that lurks in the shadows of this weeks track, courtesy of 80's underground giants - Sonic Youth.
"Sunday", from the 1988 release "A Thousand Leaves" has all the dissonance, feedback and chord arrangement's you've grown to love from their earlier albums. For me personally, I feel the track showcases a definite maturity without losing the early Velvet's inspired - art of noise, chaos and distortion. I'm sure you'll agree - but I think Sonic Youth definitely brought something unique to the underground indie scene regardless of their obvious influences.
