Ladies and Gentlemen! I’m so damn proud to introduce on this playlist the King of Pop! Michael Jackson!
The man who is still bringing hits after his death: the Pandora’s Box of Music. The unique voice praised by the world no matter which is your favourite genre, you will know him and like at least 3 songs.
He is one of the artist I can listen to his discography over and over again and I will always find something new and amazing. Last time, I found the song “(I Like) The Way You Love Me” from the album “Michael”(another posthumous album) in which the song starts with a phone conversation with Braud Buxer, and Michael saying “This is the tempo and this is the melody” and he sang the first line of it and then beatboxed the rhythm. Let’s think for a second about this, he called with the song already on his mind and then they show you the product done with a nice groove and a revived Michael still creating after leaving this world.
This version of the song with Justin Timberlake is one everybody knows, but I chose this one for two reasons:
First of all, this was the song chosen by my beloved wife and I to leave the city hall when we just got married.
And second, this song was written for Johnny Mathis in 1983 and he released the song in 1984. I want to emphasize we are talking about early 80’s. 30 years later, 30 YEARS, the same song but with MJ’s team arrangements, came back to life and it became automatically a top 10 of the decade.
Here is the real punchline: the original version was not the hit but here you feel more intimate with him to really enjoy this one of a kind human being. That is why this playlist is perfect for this song.

About the curator - Rodrigo Medrano
At a very early age, music had an incredible impact on Rodrigo’s life. He was never able to listen to lullaby songs; instead he was served Guns n’ Roses and Aerosmith for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
At the age of 12, he became a melomaniac, collecting albums, EP’s, recording sessions, and researching every kind of genre. All this helped him to get his first job at a recording studio where he realized his life would forever revolve around sound and music.
Working on cruise ships as First Audio Technician allowed him to let loose his passion and expand his knowledge on psychoacoustics, eventually promoted up to being in charge of sound for the hit broadway shows: Rock of Ages and Burn The Floor.
His music library will never stop growing as his melomania will get worse and worse.
