I’m a hopeless romantic. I think love is a social construct. I fall in love with every new person I meet. And yet I seem to always question why we feel it so necessary to find someone to love. Maybe it has to do with the things that I was exposed to growing up. Maybe it’s all in my head.
“All I've ever had are love songs
Singing oh-oh-oh
Go on, I dare you”
It’s true all love songs tell people to risk it all, to tell the other how they feel. So maybe that’s why i’m so conflicted about feelings, specifically love. I wouldn't want it in any other way, because I want to “dare you”, but get lost in my thoughts.

About the Curator - Ashlee Villasenor
Ashlee Villasenor is a senior at Austin College who watches too much Netflix and listens to her music a bit too loud. Her passion for music stems from a childhood full of sleeping on chairs at concerts to singing at the top of her lungs with her dad in the car to every new album he bought her. She's a Tumblr obsessed vegetarian, an animal-lover, a "let's share our feelings through music" kind of girl, who you will never catch without her journal and her pen in hand.
