Daft Punk put the icing on the cake when they made their shocking return to the music scene back in 2013. It had been eight years since we had heard a fresh, new studio album of all original musical material since 2005's "Human After All" They were triumphant among fans when they bombarded onto the air waves with their single "Get Lucky" was released in April of 2013. The song featured Pharell Williams and Nelson Rodgers and became a smash hit and worldwide success.
It wasn't until August of 2013 that Daft Punk decided to release this week's track "Lose Yourself To Dance" The song was also a success given that it debuted at #1 on The U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart that year along with it charting within the Top 40 across multiple dance music charts. Setting all charts aside though "Lose Yourself To Dance" is a funky, smooth dance pop jam that makes you want to as they say "Sweat, sweat sweat!"
