If you’re a TLC lover, you’ll definitely be feeling this song. No surprise that this creation is filled with greatness. They provided support for comfortless young women. This song in particular tells you to wear what you want as long it make you feel good. Beauty doesn’t always have to be uncomfortable. As T-Boz said, you can wear baggy clothes instead of tight jeans if that what makes you feel free.
With her rhythmic flow, the group's rapper, Left-Eye informs the people of the 90's that anyone has the right to wear what they want. Our style expresses who we are and we shouldn't be ashamed of it. "Hat 2 Da Back" is the one of the many anthems that encourages us to embrace our personal styles. It tells us to disregard the so-called standards that society has for young women. However, the message can be directed to any and everyone.
