This song is a cute pop 80s movie, waking up and getting ready for the day in a huge, well-lit bedroom with a white wicker vanity mirror and bubblegum pink everything. This song is 700 layers of bright colors on that somehow work together to pull off a bitchy effervescence. Leaving the house and being picked up in a red convertible by a hot piece of arm candy. Cue the montage of driving down palm tree-lined streets. Lollipops involved.
Kim Petras is an incredible artist screaming onto the pop scene, whose aesthetic is an amazing neon dreamland that makes my heart a go-go dancer. Her songs are impossible not to dance to, with singable melodies and fun synth-pop bops that dance with you. Pour up some champagne and blow yourself a kiss baby, you've got a long day of being the hottest girl in town ahead of you.
Thank you to Grace for loaning me some of her words to make this post. Luv u sis.
