Alright, yes, it’s a sad song, actually about love lost. But I couldn’t help but include it in this playlist because this track really does give me a break. It somehow gets all the entangled thoughts inside my head and smoothens it out just through a single listen. The melody and the guitar are what guides me to this experience.
You can find such clarity in a song filled with sadness since you can turn its meaning around into something you’d end up finding out about yourself.
The first time I heard this track, I was just stunned by how emotional, yet mellow and bright it is. You’ve got to give this a listen and I hope you understand the feeling I’m talking about. Still makes me lost for words.
Andie constantly thinks of music as an escape to a whole other place. It also brings out this different side of her that only music can. Like, you ever have a bad day, but when you listen to this particular song or shuffle this certain playlist, everything seems better? Yeah, that's pretty much how it makes her feel too. And for her, music has to be playing everywhere– as in everywhere. It's like she has a soundtrack for anything. She can't stop writing or talking about it. It's something she can talk about with you for hours and hours. Music helps her get lost but in the best way possible.
