“BEST INTEREST” is an R&B/Hip-Hop loosie that Tyler, The Creator released despite not making the final cut on his most recent album, Igor. Interestingly enough, Tyler performed and produced this song. This was one of my favorite songs that released in 2020 and the beautiful and sunny musical production makes it perfect for a picnic.
The luscious synths and old-school keyboard melody create a warm and soulful vibe. And the deep baseline gives the track a nice rhythm that ties everything together in a neat bow. Altogether, this instrumental is really solid and perfect to listen to on a warm, sunny day with birds chirping in the background.
Also, Tyler shows off his versatility in this song by mixing his smooth and sweet singing vocals in the chorus with a few deep and raspy rap bars. Tyler’s creative performance matches the instrumental perfectly and keeps listeners entertained throughout the full 2 minutes of the track.
Overall, “BEST INTEREST” is a sweet summer anthem with beautiful production matched up with a creative vocal performance from Tyler, The Creator. I can’t wait to see what else Tyler has in store for us in the future.
