Hot track alert. This is not your typical electro-boogie dance song. This is Dux: an artist on the move. He's undoubtedly space bound, or from outer space. Either way, while he is here on earth, Dux is roasting up sonically obliging alien funk pieces like Blue Star. It's refreshing, adventurous, and well produced. These days, creating "electronic" music is not that difficult. However, creating unique electronic music is a major challenge. It takes a whole lot of soul and thoughtfulness. Congrats Dux, your vision is on course.
When the groove goes deep enough, you can skip the vocals. You can practically smell the bass line on this track. Everything is in the right place at the right time. The added percussion increases the feel. The synth melody widens your smile, and the overall vibe here is rich-charming-funky-sweet. Being patient with even the shortest of songs pays off once again as Dux takes a hard, inspiring left turn to close out the track. Arpeggios take flight as a voice speaks words of truth to you. The type of words to stand by as an artist or just as a human being. One moment you're musically energized and stimulated, then you're winding down with some food for thought. Thanks Dux, for making friends with the universe, and music for the people.
