“Party Don’t Stop” is a club banger by Nairobi based hip hop group, Camp Mulla. The song gives of a summer party vibe which is evident in the youthfulness of the group. The group rose to prominence with the release of the debut single "Party Don't Stop" on 31 August 2010, with that and their subsequent works earning them a nomination for Best International Act (Africa) at the 2012 BET Awards- becoming the first Kenyans ever to be nominated for a BET award in the process. Following their release of their debut studio album, Funky Town
Camp Mulla was founded by rappers Taio Tripper, Young Kass, Super-Producer K'Cous, Miss Karun, the First Lady who is a superb vocalist and the group is hype-managed by Mykie Tuchi. Camp Mulla's main goal is to spread Urban Hip Hop music influence all Over East Africa and globally. Camp Mulla originally formed in high school and it was a case of sheer passion. They hung out at the studio all the time and it was a good vibe. After a couple of years the group blew up.
Camp Mulla describes their sound as “Our sound was hip hop / R&B and very soft and sweet. Not too sweet though, it was a little rough as well. When it got hot, it was hot enough. When it was soft, it was really smooth”. They call their musical style "2-5-Flow" or "254Low" (pronounced "two five flow"), which is a play on Kenya's calling code +254.
Camp Mulla shone brightly but briefly and then went their separate ways. But after a hiatus of four years, the Kenyan band reformed last year and are now busy cooking up new music
