I remember this song playing in the background while I sat on my kitchen counter listening to a friend tell me about his trip to Iceland. He even made me restart it before he told me about his experience seeing the Northern Lights. Magical is the word I would use to describe, Iceland, the Northern Lights and this song.

"And all I know

Is that I want you so

Heavy on my mind

And the feeling grows

When you're dancing slow

I see your fire go

Electric Indigo"

The lyrics are magical in the way they paint a picture. The way the object of the song is simplified to an electric color. A color that signifies intuition and a calming entity, but is also vibrant. It is such a beautiful representation of the object of this song, while the rest of the lyrics focus on real love. But most importantly the lyrics are hopeful and optimistic. Even though there is distance between him and that whom the song is about. the color they give off gives him hope.
